👂 Let's take a look at the album first?

Combining 'Band', which signifies a rock group, and 'Aid', which means help, the album conveys the message of comforting and healing the wounds of those who listen to the music. With the title track, Melting, a total of 8 songs were released as listed below.

'Band-Aid' also literally refers to a bandage🩹, which I felt perfectly reflected the album's message!

  • Monster
  • Melting (Title)
  • She Laughed
  • Bad Game
  • Help Me Rock&Roll
  • COUNTER
  • I'm Fine
  • Still There

I had high expectations along with my friends when I saw the title track teaser video, and as expected, it's truly the reliable DAY6. I've been playing all the tracks on repeat every day lately🎶🎶

The melodies are fantastic, but the lyrics make me feel even more strongly that these songs are meant to heal someone.

In the lyrics of 'Melting', the title track,

I believe the message is about being grateful for your embrace, warmth, smile, and kind words that have brought me back to life, and that you are my good fortune, and now I will help you in return. 😭

Through this, I think it's a message to fans, as well as a message to someone who has helped me when I was struggling, and a song that serves as a way to say 'You've worked hard today' to someone who is struggling.

Most of the lyrics in the other tracks also offer comfort to someone who is struggling in various situations, so I highly recommend listening to them!

They're all great, but my personal favorites among the tracks are Monster and Still There 👍

There's been a lot of good news about DAY6 lately!

I hope they continue to have lots of good news, and I look forward to more great music. ❤️
